 The friends of Woodheys Park based in Sale are please to announce that funding for their popular football skills courses has been agreed for the winter period. As the park is not floodlit we have been forced to amend the times to suit and so the courses will now be held every Tuesday between 4 – 5pm. Our football skills courses have become hugely popular with the children based around the park, the weekly trophy scheme and quality of the F.A approved coaches running the course has kept children coming back week after week. At no cost to the children these football skills courses are a good way to get your children involved in a group activity where motivation and teamwork are paramount to their enjoyment.
We are still looking to improve the facilities within the park and next spring we would hope to be able to replace the goalposts and continue running these football coaching and skills courses throughout 2009. |
